Getting Back to It

Well I took a little Hiatus but thought I give it another go. I have a love for travel, places rich in history, good story and good food. Born in raised, went away and came back to Tri-State Area. I've been traveling and doing things since I was about 7 when my parents sent me to Girl Scout Camp. I haven't stopped traveling since. Compared to some I don't travel hardly at all but I love finding new places for adventures. In 2011 I stopped traveling to places far away and I found this left a huge hole in my life and left me feeling a little sad. That is when I started to look for things to do nearby. Sometimes they were just day trips, other times maybe for the weekend. I learned to replace traveling on airplanes and being gone for weeks to riding in a car for a day. I started to realize that there are many gems in my own backyard worth traveling to and taking a look at. I hope that I can encourage to get out explore some of these places or find your own gems to travel too in your own back yard. Places where you can learn history or cooking or how to rough it outside. I want to share the places I find and things I learn to do along the way. So, Who is ready for an adventure?

I first did this video when I was working on my Bachelor's Degree for my marketing class. It still fits yet today, little bit about me and my love of travel. <3
